Star City Philippines or simply Star City is situated in the northwestern part of Pasay where most of the tourist attractions are seen. Star City Philippines is also at par with Gloria Fantasyland, housed inside Gloria de Dapitan in Dapitan.
Star City Philippines
Star City started its operation in 1991 and most of the kiddie rides are already old. The theme park continues to replace the old and damage ones gradually to avoid any untoward incidents which notably placed their name in the tri-media for having unsafe and old rides. But because of improvements and innovations, Star City has been patronized again by both local and foreign tourist for its fun-filled activities.
There are many attractions which can be found only in Star City Philippines but are not in both Enchanted Kingdom and Gloria’s Fantasyland. Both EK and GF also have their own unique rides, styles and themes which makes all 3 theme parks worth visiting. The main advantage of Star City over the two is that many of the rides are housed inside a roofed area, which means that you can still enjoy even when it’s raining or too hot outside.
Star City Marker
Bringing of food and water is not allowed inside Star City Philippines. The park reserves the right to refuse entry or to dismiss without refund, persons displaying suspicious or unruly behavior, persons carrying, transporting or under the influence of alcoholic beverages, drugs or hallucinogenic substances.
Star City Philippines has a spacious parking area at the back of the big STAR CITY name. Parking along the street is also an option.

Star City Philippines opens at 4pm every Monday to Thursday and 2pm every Friday to Sunday. Closing time depends on the number of people who are still enjoying inside the park.
Before the park opens its gates to the public all the crew stays in the counter area and exhibit a short dance presentation, to make the visitors feel at home inside Star City.

How to get to Star City
Star City is located in Sotto St., CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a short ride from other known landmarks in the area such as SM Mall of Asia, Seafoods Paluto Restaurants. Taking a taxi is the best and fastest option. Just tell the taxi to bring you to Star City which is right beside Aliw Theatre near the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the driver will surely know that place already.
If you choose to drive from Manila, take Roxas Boulevard. It is about 3 kilometers from Kilometer Zero and Rizal Park. If you’re from Makati City, Mandaluyong City and Pasig City, take the main road going southeast known as EDSA and turn right once you arrive at Roxas Boulevard before you reach SM Mall of Asia. From the right turn, it is only short 2 kilometer drive going north.

Buses and shuttle van ply from Enchanted Kingdom to Manila/Makati for a fare of about P200. Travel time is about 1 hour (2 hours during peak hours). From Manila/Makati, you can take a jeepney or taxi going to Roxas Blvd and stop by CCP Complex where Star City is located.

Yes you can take pictures inside Star City but there are some restricted areas where picture taking is not allowed such as Snow World.

I think you are referring to Winter Funland. But I’m not sure if you are referring to a different adventure.
As what I know, it’s (winter funland) open whole-year round except during maintenance days. Where did you hear that it’s only open for the month of January?

I think the age limit is 8 years old. Below that age are not allowed because the kid’s body can’t control the temperature inside. Picture taking is not allowed. This way, people will be curious of what’s inside Winter Funland in Star City. I believe there are some people who try to steal pictures using their camera phones. It’s probably worth a try until someone tells you to stop doing it. Hahaha… But don’t tell them you got the advise from me. =)

The parking area of Star City are found at the side behind the big STAR CITY logo. You can also park at the street side. For a more detailed answer on the 3 cheers, contacting the marketing department of the theme park is your best choice.
