Strategically situated in the secluded northwest part of Surigao, Almont Beach Resort, sometimes called as Almont Resort Hotel, is one of the finest Hotels in the city. Located about 5 kilometers from the city center, Almont Beach Resort offers high-quality rooms, foods and amenities. It is the “go to” resort for most foreigners visiting the area because of its relaxing ambiance, outside the hustle and bustle of the city.
Nice view outside
From the Airport of Surigao or the City Hall, near the Site of the first Philippine Flag raising in Mindanao, you can take a tricycle going to Almont Beach Resort. This is the cheapest way to get to the place but if you prefer a better transportation, you can contact the hotel for a tourist vehicle to pick you up or you can hire a van to bring you to the place.
Better prepare a large budget for food or bring your own quick-cook food as there is no other restaurant nearby the resort. Your choices are limited if you don’t bring enough money. There are affordable package meals but it won’t be enough to feed someone who has lost thousands of calories from swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or any other fun but exhausting activity.
Below is a photo gallery of Almont Beach Resort. The photos will give you a virtual tour of the Hotel & Restaurant. Hope you like it.

I love Surigao City, my hometown… Pagbabalik ka ulit ng Surigao City, please feature the Mabua pebble beach, one of its kind beaches in the Philippines. There are new resorts being built there and if you want to see the beautiful sunset, its perfect in Mabua. Thank you for featuring Surigao City in your blog. 🙂
` Perfectly captured photos, it really shows you had fun in this place.. I am planning to visit there also, and experience the same fun you have spent in there 🙂
