One of the tourist attractions which Dapitan is really proud of is its 3 hectare commercial center, Gloria de Dapitan, which lies in the heart of Sunset Boulevard where most of the hotels and inns are located. Aside from Rizal Shrine, the historical landmark, and Dakak, a world-class Park and Beach Resort, Gloria de Dapitan housed a wide variety of establishments including the first theme park in the south of the Philippines, Gloria Fantasyland, comparable to Enchanted Kingdom and Disneyland.

In the middle of Gloria de Dapitan is the Gallera de Dapitan, a deluxe cockpit which is sometimes used for boxing matches, live shows, competitions and other entertainments that draw crowds. The Gallera de Dapitan is designed by Fernando Mirasol. A bowling center named Exodus Bowledrome is available inside Gloria de Dapitan. It is the first of its kind in northwestern Mindanao comparable to bowling lanes in Manila, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. It has 8 lanes and setting of pins is computer-aided. Those who want to trim down their weight or just want to stay healthy, Powerhouse Gym is also available. It is by far the biggest gym in Zamboanga peninsula. One can enjoy boxing, aerobics, taebo, and belly dancing too. Gym instructors are available who can assist and suggest programs for you to follow.

Gloria de Dapitan which translates to “Glory to Dapitan” boasts the variety of establishments inside the commercial center. Bakery, arcade game, internet café, restaurants, bars, coffee shop, boutiques, souvenir shops, fruit stand, pharmacy, money changer, ATM, disco center and a lot more can be experienced inside. One thing that amazes every visitor in Gloria de Dapitan is the fountain, elaborately done to attract tourists and make them gaze at the fountain for several minutes if it’s their first time. It is located in the middle of the arcade center and Gallera de Dapitan. One thing that makes Gloria de Dapitan attractive and unwinding is its Bistro Paborito where one can listen to live acoustic music. They also serve meals, cocktails and beverages.

Bayugo KTV, Wines and Spirits, Tapas and Beer can further entice anyone to chill at Gloria de Dapitan. Gloria’s Center Stage is located at the back of Gallera de Dapitan, used for bands, concerts, singing and dance competitions. One of the latest additions to the establishments in Gloria de Dapitan is the Dapitan Globalink, a call center in Dapitan City. Booths that sell fruit shakes, hotdogs, siopao, french fries, ice creams and many others are available near Gloria Fantasyland.

The whole Gloria de Dapitan is fenced and only one entrance gate is available. Security is 24 hours and there is nearby Police outpost. There is an available parking area for automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles. Gloria de Dapitan is 12 kilometers from the airport, 6 kilometers from the seaport and 14 kilometers from the urban center of Dipolog City. It is 25 minutes away from Dakak Beach Resort, 10 minutes from Rizal Shrine, 5 minutes away from the landing site of Rizal, 8 minutes away from Dapitan City Plaza, 3.5 hours going to Ozamiz and 8 hours going to Cagayan de Oro.
