Sunset in Boracay

The sunset in Boracay is one of the most astonishing views here in the Philippines. The sun sets at around 5 to 6 in the afternoon but local and foreign tourists wait for it from 4 o’clock PM. The sunset in Boracay is almost similar to the sunset in Dapitan‘s boulevard except for the number of observers and the white-sand beach among others. The warm color of the sun together with the deep blue sky and sea reflections makes it a wonderful piece […]

Whale Shark (Butanding) maltreatment in Boljoon and Oslob

For the information of many avid readers of this travel blog, a viral photo of a girl standing on top of a whale shark, locally known as “Butanding” (Tagalog) and “Tuki” (Visayan), in Boljoon (NOT Oslob) in Cebu, has been the topic on social networking websites recently. Boljoon and Oslob are two different municipalities but are next to each other. It is highly possible that some Butanding, who used to dwell in the waters near Oslob, decided to move to another place because […]

Loon Macaques (Mangrove Monkeys) in Bohol

The Loon Macaques found in Cantomucad, Loon, Bohol is now one of the tourist attractions the Bohol government is heavily promoting. Because it is not usually included in a countryside tour package, the Macaques in Loon are not as popular as the Chocolate Hills, Baclayon Church and Loboc River. Macaques are short-tailed monkeys of rocky regions such as Asia and Africa. In the Philippines, there are many of these monkeys in the wild but some people are capturing them and making them as […]

Mag-aso Falls in Antequera

The Mag-aso falls in the town of Antequera is one of the major attractions in Bohol, Philippines. Because it is not usually included in a day-tour package, the Mag-aso falls is not as popular as the other attractions in the island such as Loboc River, Tarsier and old churches such as Baclayon Church and Sto Nino Parish Church among others. Comparable to Tinago Falls in Iligan, Mag-aso fall’s name comes from the word “aso”, which means smoke. This is because of the haze […]

  • Come! Discover the Philippines

What makes the Philippines more than a usual holiday destination?

Some say, when the Gods created the Philippine island, they liked it so much, they decided to create seven thousand more. That meant having over seven thousand different views of the sun, and many different beaches like Boracay, which is probably unlike anywhere you’ve ever been.

They say that Gods took their time when they made this paradise. Having thousand of islands also meant that our wildlife and marine life are among the most diverse in the world.

Even our history comes in many chapters, each one with the different theme. Our colors come in infinite forms and our melting pot of cultures contain more than the usual ingredients, so you can expect more than the usual festivals every year.

We’re oriental, and were western too! That’s why no matter where you’re from, the Philippines will feel like home.

Many come here to learn… and play. We just love taking the usual things further like honeymooning , relaxing, partying, and shopping. You haven’t seen a real bargain unless you shop here.

And if we like to over do things here in the Philippines just imagine what it’s like, to be our guest!
